It's finally done! Well, they're as done as I'm going to get them in any case.
This was a commission made to a friend of mine a bit ago, so yet again I'm making props for cosplays I have no intention of doing. Though honestly if it weren't for the fact that I really don't want to make these again I'd toy with the idea of cosplaying Pit. xD
I'm not going to lie, as much as I threatened to burn these in the middle of making them I've actually grown kind of attached to the little buggers... :,< Damn me for naming them to make it easier to tell them apart.
I'm also a little depressed that I won't be seeing this finished, the client wants to do the blue/violet detailing himself so I've already put it in the mail. [did you guys know how expensive shipping is these days?!]
They're very comfortable to hold and swing around though, and very sturdy thankfully, which means they'll survive the shipping process.
I wrote down thirty hours, but I'd swear it was a lot more...I spent four hours on the sanding/sizing of the handles alone, and thats a rough guess. x.x
Oh, and since I didn't write it up there, it's been painted in mostly acrylic paints and Matte Medium for a hardener.
My back is still hurting from the hours bent over them, so I'm going to go lay down before working on the next project. xD;;
Glad I did these, but they've been hell, I won't lie.

I showed this to Mom too, who's like practically in tears again that you're making that tomahawk for her.
